Norbert Wissing (1959)



studied composition with Lex van Delden. He composes music for Orchestra and Chamber-Ensembles, as well as music for Theatre. He wrote music for the Fassbinder play "Bremer Freiheit", at the occasion of the Fassbinder-retrospective of the Ostade-Theater (Amsterdam, 1998).

His orchestral music is performed by the Ricciotti-Ensemble, which played his "Fassbinders Tod" on tour through the Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark (1998).

In his music he focusses on colourfull orchestration as is prominently expressed in his
Canto 4 "In Memoriam Lex van Delden" for large orchestra. His interest in orchestration is shown in his collaboration with Hans van Eck in the arrangements of Classical works.

His music is lyrical and melodical.
He is also known as a good composition- and orchestration-teacher.

Hans van Eck (1958)



studied electronic music at the Institute for Sonology, Utrecht with Jaap Vink. He also studied Musicology at the City University of Amsterdam with prof. F. Noske, drs. Waltmans and dr. L Landy. He graduated cum laude on a thesis about Johann Jacob Froberger. He got private lessons Composition from Daan Manneke. From 1976 on he composes music for different scorings of instruments sometimes in combination with electronic sounds.

Recenty his music is performed by the Aquarius Ensemble cond. Lucas Vis. He is a guestlecturer at the 'Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht', department. Musictechnology. As producer/recording-technician/composer he collaborated with Hans van Koolwijk in the realisation of the CD 'Bambuso Sonoro'. Hans van Eck is one of the founders of the 'Schreck-Ensemble', for electro-acoustical music.

His music focusses on emotional appeal and colourfull perspectives. His interest in colours is promenent in his collaboration with Norbert Wissing in the arrangements of Classical works.
He is also a good
composition teacher and performer.
